Welcome
My journey to becoming a Realtor is a little unconventional. I was born in Seattle while my father was still in the U.S. Navy and my mother was a hairstylist. When he went to work at the Bremerton Shipyard, I attended Bremerton High School. My next stop was at Central WA University in Ellensburg graduating in accounting. After experiencing that new career for 2 years, selling a home in a week and having to move again, I decided to return to Central WA University and start a new career path in teaching high school. While on a high school field trip, someone told me I should be a realtor which started the idea of it in my mind. Between teaching and moving to a new location I was once again involved in selling a home. During the next 8 years I substitute taught Jr. and Sr. high school in the Redmond WA area along with volunteering in a community school in several different capacities. Unexpectantly, one of my two children became very ill and so I stayed home to help him heal for a while. After my two sons moved out on their own, I moved to Eastern WA for a family career change. All these changes in location increased my enjoyment of real estate. It became a passion which turned into a new career. It struck me as a great way to integrate my love for community service and real estate which led me to becoming a realtor.
My two sons now reside near Seattle. My husband and I, enjoy hiking, camping, skiing, fishing, golfing, playing board games, reading, and being together with our sons whenever possible. One of our favorite family meeting places is at a campground in Central WA.
Selling or buying a home can be one of the most stressful and exciting times in life. My goal for you, each and every time, is to make this a calm, smooth, happy and efficient process which is why I joined Coldwell Banker Tomlinson. I look forward to meeting you and offering you my support, honesty, efficiency, organization, and negotiating skills in supporting your real estate journey in the greater Spokane area.
